Manish Pandey plundered a spectacular 114 not out against the Deccan Chargers as the Royal Challengers Bangalore won their fourth successive game to reach the semi-finals where they will clash with MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings on Saturday. Pandey smashed 10 boundaries and four sixes in only 73 balls to become the first Indian to hit a ton in the IPL. Chasing 171, the Deccan Chargers fell short by 12 runs after Herschelle Gibbs clobbered a 43-ball 60. Deccan will play against Delhi on Friday.
