Ireland stunned Bangladesh by six wickets in a Group ‘A’ match of the ICC World Twenty20 at Trent Bridge on Monday to enter the Super Eight stage.
Chasing 138, Ireland reached the target with 10 deliveries remaining in the contest. Niall O’Brien and Kevin O’Brien were the heroes for the spirited Ireland during the pursuit.
Mashrafe Mortaza and Rubel Hossain delivered a couple of tight overs at the start. Jeremy Bray succumbed to the stress, held at cover-point off Mortaza.
