Pakistan will clash with West Indies in todays encounter in the Champions Trophy under the captaincy of all-rounder Shahid Afridi as the regular skipper Younis Khan has been ruled out due to a hand injury.
Younis Khan suffered a hairline fracture in his right index finger during a warm up match against Sri Lanka three days back. However, he is likely to be fit for their second match against arch-rivals India on Saturday.
His unavailability for the match paves the way for vice-captain Afridi to take on the responsibility of leading the One-day side for the first time in his career.
