On the chasing side, New Zealand were all out for 149 in the 40th over. This victory gave Pakistan a lead in the three match ODI series.
The remaining two matches are scheduled to be played on Friday and Monday. The two teams will be moving to Dubai for the Twenty 20 internationals on November 12th and 13th.
