After the excellent half centuries by Sachin Tendulkar (63) and Saurabh Tiwary (61), Mumbai Indians were successful in beating through the Delhi daredevils by 98 runs.
Mumbai Indians registered their second consecutive score above 200.
Mumbai set the target of 219 for Daredevils who kept losing wickets in frequent intervals and finally fell for 120 in 16.3 overs. Delhi Daredevils captain Gautam Gambhir was absent with the bat as he was hurt.
Sehwag (26) and Maharoof (28) did try to help the Delhi score go up. Rest all returned back with just single digit and double digit scores.
Sachin was declared Man of the Match.
