Gautam Gambhir luck with the toss continued and he won for the sixth time in a row and without hesitation batted first and posted a decent enough 184 runs and made the opponent struggle once again on a slow pitch in Delhi before the packed home ground.Collingwood hits second successive 50 with an unbeaten 75 runs with cameos from Sehwag(35) and Warner(33).

Bangalore chasing 185 started too slowly with the run rate under 6 till the 10th over of the innings. They kept losing wickets in regular intervals as Sangwan(3-22) and Mishra(3-32) sealed the fate for the visiting side.

It was kallis once again who scored an half century and as critics would point out in south african circles,it came back to RCB too as Kallis was the one who made the Bangalore lose the momentum in their last 2 matches though he scored half centuries.

It takes Delhi to the second spot behind Mumbai and Bangalore comes third.Chennai,Rajasthan and KKR looks same with 4 wins and 5 losses from 9 matches and the battle is heating up in the IPL.
