India’s Tri-series Schedule

BCCI today announced that India will play a One-day tri-series in Zimbabwe during May-June with Sri Lanka as the third team.

According to the BCCI announcement, the tri-series will start on May 28 with India taking on Zimbabwe in Bulawayo and the final is slated for June 9 in Harare. India will stay back for two Twenty20 matches on June 12 and 13 in Harare.

India replaced New Zealand, which pulled out citing security issues. India last toured Zimbabwe for two Tests and a One-day tri-series, involving New Zealand in 2005.

ICC has announced the World Cup 2011 Schedule that will be hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh jointly. India will host 29 matches out of 43 matches and the remaining matches will be hosted by Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

India will play against Bangladesh in the World Cup first match at Dhaka that will be played on February 19, 2011. India will also host its first match at Chennai on February 20, 2011. ICC World Cup 2011 Finals will be hosted by Mumbai Wankhade Stadium.
