Dhoni and Yuvraj hold top spots in ICC ODI Rankings

India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his deputy Yuvraj Singh continued to hold on to the top two spots in the latest ICC ODI Players Ranking issued on Monday. Apart from these two, Sachin Tendulkar is in 7th spot while Delhi opener Virender Sehwag is in 9th place.
No Indian features among thr top 10 ODI bowlers. Left-arm pacer Zaheer Khan is at 17th place in the list which is headed by Sri Lankan Nuwan Kulasekara followed by New Zealand Daniel Vettori and Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh.
In the allrounders chrt, Yuvraj Singh is occupying the second place with 362 rating points behind Shakib (427), while South African Jacques Kallis is third with 332 points.

After the victory over Sri Lanka in the tri-series Compaq Cup that concluded recently, India has regained the second spot in the ICC ODI ranking. India can clinch the top spot if they manage a good show in the Champions Trophy that begins on September 22 at South Africa.
There is just one point difference each between the top three rankings held by South Africa, India and Australia. There is also a chance for Australia to go to the top of the rankings if they manage a clean sweep against England.
